About Anette
It’s one thing writing about a character in a novel, but it’s quite another trying to write a few lines about myself, but I’ll do my best.
I’m a married mum of three, living in Kent, England. I’ve had many jobs over the years, some great, others, best forgotten. I was a PA to the CEO of a large retail development company for many years, but I think the best job I’ve ever had was as a Commodore (first) Class Stewardess on board the DFDS ship, MS Princess of Scandinavia. Now, that was such an interesting job that I could write a story about it. In fact, I might just do that.
Like many people, I’ve always wanted to write a novel, but I never did anything about it. But then, one day, I had an idea that grew and grew until I just had to write it all down. The result is Love In The Wrong Dimension, my first novel, which is now available to download on Amazon. So far, the feedback I’ve had has been incredible and I’m now raring to get started on the next one.
Although writing is my first passion, jewellery making comes a close second. Stick me in a bead shop and I’m like a kid in a sweet shop!
I’m a member of the RNA (Romantic Novelists’ Association) NWS, who are incredible, by the way. If you’re an aspiring romantic novelist, I’d highly recommend that you visit their website .
Right now, I’m writing the first story in a serial about a haunted dress shop, and then I’m going to start on my next full length novel. I’ll keep you posted.
Finally, I just have to mention that I love ABBA. Even when I was a goth (I still am at heart – once a goth, always a goth!), I adored them. So apart from ghosts, Abba, goth/metal music, quantum physics and jewellery making, some of my other interests include cats, space, dance, wine and chocolate.

I like the site, and have read your book – impressed. I like the mix of classic romance and paranormal, but the plot was excellent. do you have any other books available?
Hi, Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ve started the next one, which will probably be the first in a series about a haunted dress shop. I’ll post an update soon so please check back. xx
It would be rude of me not to leave a comment on Love In The Wrong Dimension. Was totally swept up in the story. Beautifully written. I couldn’t put it down. I totally loved the twist at the end, it was soo beautiful – and yes, I cried. I read it in about 14 hours. My eyes are like slits but well worth it. Well done babe. Can’t wait for your next novel <3<3<3
Thanks Julie, I’m really glad you enjoyed it. xx
Love the book, it was a fab story with a great ending.
I loved your explanations about the ghosts and dimensions etc, it makes perfect sense!
Thank you, Kat, I appreciate your comments. I’ve always believed that there must be a scientific and logical explanation for ghosts and even though I may we well off the mark, at least its a reasonably plausible explanation for something that is such an enigma.
